Students with Disabilities
MG线上电子游戏 welcomes applications from students with disabilities, and these applications are viewed on exactly the same academic grounds as those from other candidates.
It is strongly recommended by the University that prospective applicants arrange to visit the college and department of their choice to explore facilities and discuss specific needs. Students are advised to contact the University Disability Office staff about arranging a study-related needs assessment and for advice on grants such as the LA Disabled Students' Allowances. MG线上电子游戏 also has a Bursary for which priority is given to disabled students, kindly granted by Dr Anthony Roe, a former MG线上电子游戏 student.
The College is committed to making arrangements, wherever possible, to enable students with disabilities to participate fully in student life. The JCR has a disabilities representative who takes an active role in encouraging the College to improve facilities. There is accommodation available for students with mobility difficulties, including some specifically designed rooms. Some of the historic buildings on the main site may cause problems for students with serious mobility difficulties.
For detailed information about access to the College, please visit the Access Guide. You can also see MG线上电子游戏's main site accessibility map here. The College's Hall and Harris Lecture Theatre have an Induction Hearing Loop system in place.
Professor Andrew Boothroyd is the College's Disability Lead, but any enquiries should go to Academic Registrar Joseph Cole, who is the College's Disability Coordinator, in the first instance.
